Hello, my name is Gabriela Villacorta.
I am a Birth Keeper (traditional midwifery), writer and disruptor of any institutionalized, forced or systematic programming that leads us away from our true nature.
I plan on writing about all things birth (specially on the effects of the many unnecessary “modern” day interventions and the endless violations to mother and baby by the medical system), holistic health & wellness and the imperative need for us humans to strengthen our connection to Spirit now more than ever.
My (not so grim, I promise!) outlook on the current state of humankind is this y’all:
Collectively, we are IN the birth canal... a sometimes painful and dark, yet necessary, sacred passage to a new way of life.
Our traumas have been running the show; immense amounts of fear and doubt have fathered a society more willing to trust "big" pharma and bet more on Ai than on our own immaculate & divine inner intelligence.
We have forgotten our connection to Spirit, to the unseen. Our physical senses, insatiable needs, and ego-mind have overtaken our intuition and hearts: our inner compass. We no longer feel part of nature, no longer know our essential roles in the fabric of life, or even consider the earth our generous and nourishing Mother. We continue exiling ourselves from all that's real and instead deep dive into artificial realities in which nothing is ever enough, in which being earthborn is no longer enough.
Altering the course of humanity is still certainly possible. Yet, just as in physiological births, we must first be willing to surrender entirely to the immense labor of love, an uncomfortable yet freeing expansion while concurrently accepting the contraction of the lost and confused self.
Slowly, we can expand back into humanity's forgotten oneness and to the undeniable universal truths of nature; while contracting the self-absorbed ego, our obsession with control, and the infectiousness of capitalistic greed. Disposing of the many falsehoods to the cosmic compost, thanking them for their teachings while burning off all limiting cords that keep us attached.
Dear humans, presence is our ultimate superpower. Presence cultivates gentle and courageous hearts, humbly aware of our potent purpose… to express God through us, to love our consciousness incarnated, and to be able to see past the endless illusions with complete discernment, equity, and clarity to get closer to enlightenment.
We are being called to do the work of the inner shaman, attuning to our essential wilderness while fertilizing seeds of freedom, sovereignty, unity, consciousness, and wholeness within ourselves in an effort to conceive a new world: The Rebirthing of Humanity.
